| Point | Chip, Pin | Connect to (on modification board) | Comments |
| A (Back side of board) | NW801, pin 82 | 4016, pin 11 | Wire can be soldered to pin on chip without lifting it |
| B | 1267, pin 7 | 4016, pin 2 | Wire can be soldered to pin on chip without lifting it |
| C | 1267, pin 9 | 4016, pin 3 | Wire can be soldered to pin on chip without lifting it |
| D | NW801, pin 90 | 4016, pin 1 | Solder wire to this pad |
| E | NW801, pin 92 | 4016, pin 4 | Solder wire to this pad |
| F | ICX098, pin 9 | Collector of transistor | Cut and lift this pin, then solder wire to pin |
| G | Cut this trace at the X carefully, check with ohmmeter | ||
| H | Cut this trace at the X carefully, check with ohmmeter | ||
| I | Pad for ccd, pin 9 | Emitter or transistor | This trace needs to have the green coating scraped off before soldering |
| A (Front side) | 1267, pin 4 | 4016, pin 10 | This pin needs to be lifted from the pad, then the wire soldered to the pin. |
| A (USB Connector) | Ground (black wire) | Ground | Solder the ground wire here |
| B (USB Connector) | +5Volts (red wire) | +5V | Solder the +5V wire here - this is the square pad |
| All wires described above need to be run to the 4016 (or 4066) on the modification board. The modification board can be made however you like. See pictures below for my somewhat sloppy solution. Refer to the schematic for connections to the resistors and parallel port. If you can't read a schematic, try to find someone who can help you with this this. |
